The first six weeks after childbirth is such a critical, yet unpredictable time. Parents are often left without direction. While many parents may feel confident in taking care of themselves and a newborn postpartum, there are many details that they may not be aware of. That is why I created Fourth Trimester Expectations. It is a comprehensive postpartum and newborn course that covers birth through the first six weeks for both mom and baby. So while you can't be prepared for every scenario, you can feel confident that you're prepared to tackle some of the common challenges of the postpartum period.
"During pregnancy, I became overwhelmed with registries and newborn prep. I had no idea what to expect for myself or from my new baby. The Fourth Trimester Expectations Class gave me the confidence to tackle the first 6 weeks."

Hi, I’m Holly Whitman!
I live in Dallas, TX with my two boys, Jack and Eitan, and my husband, Jonathan. I am a certified postpartum doula and lactation counselor through Childbirth International. I currently work with expecting and new moms during the the weeks prior to and after childbirth.
Through my different experiences with pregnancy, childbirth, and taking care of my newborns, I discovered my passion for helping new moms transition during such a tender and critical time, that is often overlooked by society. When someone is expecting a child, they are the center of everyone’s focus, but once that baby is born, attention is directly shifted to the new bundle of joy, and mom and dad are often left without guidance or a manual of what to expect for themselves or this new baby.
Women are left having to understand what is happening with their own body, emotions, and relationships while learning to care for a new baby. This is why I created Fourth Trimester Expectations, because while you can't prepare for every scenario, parents can at least feel confident in knowing the basics of the postpartum period.
